Count Rockwell VI woke up to the wonderful smells of breakfast so I made my way to the kitchen. My uncle and cousin were sitting at the table and my cousin looked at me darkly as I entered the room and sat down. Morning Sara, my aunt greeted me. I smiled and rubbed my sleepy eyes to clear my vision and she placed a plate of breakfast in front of me. So Sara tell my father what you and the count were speaking about last night. My cousin ordered. You saw the count last night? My uncle asked. I was in Rockwell Orchard and Count Rockwell came up to share a drink and proposition with me. He wCount Rockwell V

Count Rockwell IIIThe next thing I remembered was the soreness of my head and a big hand was lightly resting on mine as I woke up. It belonged to Count Rockwell and he was sleeping in the big armchair next to the bed I was in. A servant girl walked in quietly and smiled at the count sleeping and nodded as she saw I was awake. She disappeared only to return quickly with a tray holding a nice bowl of soup and set it in front of me and left. I grunted as I tried to sit up only to feel a spike of pain in my head and Count Rockwell stirred at my distress.Count Rockwell III
He looked over at me and shook his head. Let me help you Sara. He spoke sleepily. &nbs

Count Rockwell III was in the carriage cabin alone all day as I was lying on the seats weeping. I couldnt believe I was leaving my life of solitude for a life of unknown evils and complications. I was at the disadvantage of being so old and alone as well as no desire to search for a male companion, at least for now. I couldnt imagine who would want a woman whose greatest use was scroll reading and translation anyway. This felt like the longest day of my life as I cried for everything but mostly for my father and his sickness and dying alone. I didnt know what time it was but the carriages pulled to a stop and there was a gentle knock at theCount Rockwell II
